<p>As an attendee, you can discover discount offers from <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/attendee-account/">your account</a>, then claim, and redeem them.</p>

<p>Offers can be from event organizers and linked to specific events, or directly from local businesses that you have engaged with as a result of an attended event.</p>

<p>With offers from event organizers, after claiming the offer, you would simply present your ticket for offer validation.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Discovering Offers</h2>

<p>You can find offers from the <strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt; <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/manage/deals/find" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Find Offers</a></strong> page.</p>

<p>If an event organizer has set up offers, they will be available for the event and ticket types that they&#8217;ve set them up for.</p>

<p>You may also find offers from local businesses if they&#8217;ve set them up for a specific location.</p>

<p>From the <strong>Find Offers</strong> page, use the Options settings to find offers based on events or location.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="268" height="369" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-4.png" alt="" class="wp-image-775" srcset="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-4.png 268w, https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-4-218x300.png 218w" sizes="(max-width: 268px) 100vw, 268px" /></figure>

<p></p>

<p>Once you have found an offer that you&#8217;re interested in, click on the <strong>Claim Deal</strong> button.</p>

<p></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="118" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-5-1024x118.png" alt="" class="wp-image-776" srcset="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-5-1024x118.png 1024w, https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-5-300x35.png 300w, https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-5-768x88.png 768w, https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-5.png 1302w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Claiming Offers</h2>

<p>Offers that you claim will be shown from the <strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt; <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/manage/deals/claimed" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Claimed Offers</a></strong> page.</p>

<p>Claimed offers can be those you either discover and claim or accept as an invitation from a local business.</p>

<p>Claiming offers from event organizers will make them associated with specific tickets. The same QR code that admits you to the event is the same that avails you of the offer.</p>

<p>Under a claimed offer&#8217;s <strong>Action</strong> menu, there are options to view more details about the offer or the business, share the offer, delete it, and if applicable, view tickets associated with the offer.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="237" height="308" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-6.png" alt="" class="wp-image-777" srcset="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-6.png 237w, https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-6-231x300.png 231w" sizes="(max-width: 237px) 100vw, 237px" /></figure>

<p></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Redeeming Offers</h2>

<p>If an offer is associated with an event, you can redeem it in-store by presenting the eligible ticket for the event.</p>

<p>If an offer is directly from a local business, depending on its setup, it can either be redeemed online or in-store. </p>

<p>If it is to be redeemed in-store, use the QR code available under the <strong>View Redemption Information</strong>. This QR code would be the same as the one shared via email.</p>

<p>If it is to be redeemed online, click the link and use any promo code shown. For online offers, you can mark them as redeemed once you have redeemed them.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Offer Invitations</h2>

<p>If you opt-in to receive offers from local businesses, they will be available under<strong> Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt; <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/manage/deals/invited" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Offer Invitations</a></strong> page.</p>

<p>If offers are available on the <strong>Offer Invitations</strong> page, you can choose to either accept or reject them. If accepted, they will be moved to the <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/manage/deals/claimed" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Claimed Offers</a></strong> page.</p>

<p>You can choose to opt in or opt-out at any time. Opting in, however, requires that the offer has first been redeemed.</p>

<p>As an event organizer, you can partner with local businesses to create offers that your attendees can redeem in-store based on the ticket types that they have or the <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/membership-passes-and-rewards/">membership</a> that they have joined.</p>

<p>Ideally, the business&#8217;s premises should be in proximity to the event&#8217;s venue so that the offers can be redeemed on or around the event date.</p>

<p>Setting up offers creates a mutual benefit for all parties involved. </p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Attendees get discount offers to redeem from businesses they love or would like to engage with for the first time. They simply need to present their tickets for <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/deals-offers-validation/">offer validation</a>.</li>

<li>Local businesses get to potentially acquire new customers and with the opportunity to generate repeat business.</li>

<li>Event organizers get to sell more tickets, increase attendance, and potentially earn from customer referrals based on their relationship with the local business.</li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Setting Up An Offer</h2>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Local Business Profile</h3>

<p>The first step is to create a profile for the local business. </p>

<p>The profile includes the business’s name, contact details, website, and location addresses that are close to the event&#8217;s venue.</p>

<p>Go to&nbsp;<strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/deals/businesses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Businesses</a></strong>.</p>

<p>On the new page, go to&nbsp;<strong>Actions</strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Add A New Business</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="232" height="183" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-742"/></figure>

<p>On the page that follows, enter the business’s details then save the form.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Getting An Offer Validated</h2>

<p>Offers get validated by scanning attendees&#8217; tickets or their <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/membership-passes-and-rewards/">membership passes</a> using our smartphone apps.</p>

<p>The local business would first need to set up the smartphone app to <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/deals-offers-validation/">validate offers</a>.</p>

<p>This process involves you as an event organizer sharing a QR Code with the local business. The QR Code to be scanned can be found under a business’s profile. Go to&nbsp;<strong>Actions</strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Merchant QR Code</strong>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Local Business Account</h2>

<p>A local business that wishes to see the offer&#8217;s claims and redemption reports, can create a <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/local-businesses/">local business</a> account, then merge your offers with it.</p>

<p>Not only would they be able to view the offer that you created for them, but they would also create their own and invite attendees who opted in to receive offers.</p>

<p>As a local business, you can work with event organizers to create discount offers for those attending specific events in locations where the business also exists.</p>

<p>These types of offers can be redeemed by attendees in-store.</p>

<p>Not only do you potentially acquire new customers, but you also benefit by generating repeat business by having attendees opt-in to receive alike offers that can be redeemed online on in-store.</p>

<p>To get started, first create a <strong>Local Business Account</strong>, or log into an existing one.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="460" height="314" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-749" srcset="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image.png 460w, https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-300x205.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px" /></figure>

<p>Once logged in, you need to create a business profile, then create its offers.</p>

<p>An account can have multiple business profiles and each profile can have multiple offers.</p>

<p></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Managing Businesses</h2>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Creating Business Profiles</h3>

<p>To create offers, you first need to set up a business profile. The profile includes the business&#8217;s name, contact details, website, and location addresses.</p>

<p>Go to <strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt; <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/deals/businesses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Businesses</a></strong>. </p>

<p>On the new page, go to <strong>Actions</strong> &gt; <strong>Add A New Business</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="232" height="183" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-742"/></figure>

<p>On the page that follows, enter the business&#8217;s details then save the form.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Managing Offers</h2>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Creating Offers</h3>

<p>Two types of offers can be created, and they are available from the <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/deals/offers" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Offers</a></strong> page.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">1. Offers By Event Organizers</h4>

<p>These types of offers can only be redeemed in-store. They are also created by event organizers for their attendees.</p>

<p>You would need to work with an <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/event-organizers-2/">event organizer</a> hosting events in the same location as the business&#8217;s location.</p>

<p>With these types of offers, you potentially get to acquire new customers, and with their opt-in permission, generate repeat business by targeting them with offers that they appreciate.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">2. In-house Offers</h4>

<p>These types of offers can be redeemed either online or in-store. They can be created for those who have opted-in to receive offers or for those seeking deals in their local area.</p>

<p>To create in-house offers, from the <strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt; <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/deals/businesses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Businesses</a></strong> page, go to a business&#8217;s profile record. </p>

<p>Under its <strong>Actions</strong> menu, go to <strong>Add An Offer</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="259" height="294" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/image-1.png" alt="" class="wp-image-743"/></figure>

<p>On the page that follows, fill out the form with the desired offer details.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Validating Offers</h2>

<p>Ticketing.events can only <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/deals-offers-validation/">validate in-store offers</a>.</p>

<p>To <a href="https://kb.ticketing.events/knowledge-base/deals-offers-validation/">validate offers</a>, you need to use our <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/event-ticket-scanner/id1063182680?ls=1&amp;mt=8" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iOS</a> and <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ventipix.ticketScanner" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Android</a> smartphone apps.</p>

<p>You will be prompted to scan a QR code to set up the app so that it can validate offers. The QR Code to be scanned can be found under a business&#8217;s profile. Go to <strong>Actions</strong> &gt; <strong>Merchant QR Code</strong>.</p>

<p>You can scan attendees&#8217; QR code tickets or any other QR codes from Ticketing.events that they present in-store.</p>

<p>Valid offers will include the discount amount, the customer&#8217;s name, an opt-in request, and optionally a POS barcode.</p>

<p>If you need to scan a barcode for your POS system, the app will display the required barcode, provided that the details for it were set up on the offer setup page.</p>

<p>The opt-in request button enables you to capture the customer&#8217;s consent to receive future offers.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Importing Offers</h2>

<p>For offers that have been set up by event organizers, you can import copies of them to your own account.</p>

<p>To do so, on the smartphone app, swipe left and then go to <strong>Merge Offers</strong>.</p>

<p>From the web account, go to the <strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt;<a href="https://ticketing.events/app/deals/external" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> <strong>External</strong></a> page.</p>

<p>On this page, go to <strong>Actions</strong> &gt; <strong>Import</strong> Offers.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="200" height="239" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-1.png" alt="" class="wp-image-756"/></figure>

<p>You will then be presented with a code to enter on the mobile app.</p>

<p>Enter this code on the smartphone app then submit the form.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Offer Invitations</h2>

<p>The offer invitations feature enables you to suggest new offers to those who have opted in to receive them.</p>

<p>From the <strong>Deals &amp; Offers</strong> &gt; <strong><a href="https://ticketing.events/app/deals/invitations" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Invitations</a></strong> page, go to <strong>Actions</strong> &gt; <strong>Create A New Invitation</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="227" height="174" src="https://kb.ticketing.events/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/image-2.png" alt="" class="wp-image-758"/></figure>

<p>On the new page, choose the offers that have previous opt-ins, then choose a new offer to be introduced to the attendees.</p>

<p>The attendees will then see these invitations in their accounts which they can accept and redeem.</p>
